The Landhaus Helene is in a quiet secluded cul-de-sac and neighbourhood, but is only approx. 80m from Zell's half-size railway station which is the main departure point for all the ski areas in the region. Firstly the shuttle buses for the Zillertal Arena ski lifts leave every few minutes from in front of the station. They link (approx. 5 mins away) with the two main gondola lifts to the Rosenalm and from there to 175km of high altitude prepared piste. These stretch from Zell to Gerlos, Koenigsleiten and Gerlosplatte, all interconnected by lifts and pistes, rarely crowded even in peak season, and available on one ski pass.

 Also, narrow gauge diesel trains provide swift connection to Mayrhofen-Hippach and from there to the ski lifts of the Penken ski area, or in the opposite direction to the Hochzillertal ski lifts in Kaltenbach (no evening or night trains). There are 450km of piste in these ski areas, Zell, Mayrofen-Hippach and Kaltenbach (on one ski pass if requested) which includes rail connections and bus shuttles.
